Tashkent Samarkand-Darboza Urban Renewal Project

Tashkent is a city that has lived through all the suffering, pride, flourishment and collapses with the rest of the world and has thus developed its own synthesized and unique identity.
Uzbekistan and particularly Tashkent is rich in natural resources and is one of the special areas that have the potential of self-branding all over the world in terms of local values, originality and creativity potential. The city has a beautiful harmony with the influence of different cultures in the historical process and this has been reflected on the physical texture of the city. For this reason, every future project should create environments that will allow this original pattern to shine. In this direction, the project aims to create a new living space with high quality of life, respectful to nature and to create sustainable new living areas with a high scale perspective, but in doing so it seeks to preserve the original traces and identity of the city.
The main purpose of this project is to find answers to the above questions. The priority we set in this way is to protect “the water”, which will be the most important natural resource in the world in 2050, to create a space structure that reminds the society of natural, cultural, social, historical and commercial references of the past.
